Largest Supplier of Tarkett Products, the Tarkett Johnsonite Raised Square Platinum Stair Tread 72" Square Nose in Gray rubber with a 72 inch length and 12.5 inch width is tailored for durable, slip-resistant stair protection. If you've worked in a facility with heavy daily traffic, you know stair safety is about more than just looks-it's about placing your trust in something that performs every day and handles the unexpected. This stair tread is produced in the United States, arrives with a 5-year warranty, and helps keep walking surfaces safe and reliable long after installation.

The 72-inch stretch paired with a 12.5-inch width covers most standard-sized stairs with a uniform surface from edge to edge. The raised square tread pattern goes beyond appearance by adding noticeable traction, reducing the potential for slips or loss of footing. The square nose serves as both a visible edge and a tough barrier against daily shoe strikes, luggage, or carts going up and down. This matters not just for preventing wear, but also for the peace of mind that comes from knowing your stair investment remains functional through years of use.

With its gray "Platinum" finish, this model blends into a variety of commercial settings-think office corridors, classroom halls, or anywhere a muted, professional fixture is needed. The rubber composition makes it easy to clean and keeps maintenance predictable; dirt and minor marks don't stand out, and you don't need specialized cleaners to keep these treads looking the way they should.

The Angle Fit style lines up well with most stair installations, covering the step for uniform contact and smooth application. Adhesive compatibility makes it suitable for a range of professional flooring scenarios, whether you're working on an all-new build or retrofitting existing stairs. Matching accessories and risers are available as part of the Tarkett line, making it possible to keep the look and function consistent throughout an entire stairwell or building.

Schools, hospitals, offices-any environment where the combination of safety, durability, and understated appearance matters-will find this stair tread up to the job. Regular cleaning routines won't wear it down quickly, and the raised square pattern stays effective even under constant use. Installation provides both the appearance and grip that facility managers and installers expect from a leading commercial-grade stair product.
