Buy Now and Save on Tarkett Johnsonite Raised Round Platinum Stair Tread, a gray rubber square nose stair tread measuring 72 inches for dependable stair coverage. This stair tread prioritizes long-term performance where safety and durability can't be left to chance-think high-traffic corridors, public buildings, or any residential or commercial staircase that sees daily use. The 72-inch length accommodates most standard step widths, while the generous 12.5-inch width provides substantial coverage for each tread, minimizing installation seams and simplifying measurement on site.

What sets this model apart is its classic raised round profile. The textured finish isn't just for appearance-it effectively reduces slip hazards, giving you and everyone traversing your stairs a more stable step. The tactile, slightly cushioned feel of the rubber underfoot offers comfort and confidence, especially in environments requiring strict adherence to slip resistance codes. The platinum gray color brings a modern neutral tone that pairs easily with new or existing flooring schemes, offering an understated look that doesn't call extra attention to itself but always feels current.

This is engineered from dense, commercial-grade rubber. The result is a tread that's forgiving to walk on and resists scuffs, stains, and minor impacts, ensuring it holds its appearance longer-something to be considered if you're balancing aesthetics with practicality over years of use. Rubber also means easier maintenance: a basic cleaning routine is all that's required to keep treads looking fresh. The 72-inch length means you'll often be able to cut precisely what you need, reducing waste and installation time.

If your installation calls for a seamless finish along the nose of each stair, the square nose profile integrates cleanly against risers and nosings, streamlining everything from adhesive application to fitment. This model is part of Tarkett Johnsonite's Angle Fit line, known for a snug, square-edged fit that doesn't leave awkward gaps, making it especially suitable for renovations and new installations alike. Need support down the line? Tarkett backs this product with a 5-year warranty, offering peace of mind in even high-wear environments. And, for buyers conscious about manufacturing origin, it's made in the United States-offering confidence in quality and supply chain clarity.

For architects, contractors, or building managers specifying for projects with tough building codes or the expectation of sustained traffic, this stair tread meets the standard with its durability and reliable performance.
