Order Online Save Money with the Tarkett Johnsonite Raised Square Pewter Stair Tread, a 72 inch gray rubber stair solution with a square nose designed for lasting performance. This stair tread offers practical reliability for demanding stairways-think of busy hallways in schools, healthcare buildings, or any area where safety and long-term wear matter. Produced in the United States using resilient rubber, each tread is built for daily use and holds up in environments where constant foot traffic is the norm.

The Raised Square finish provides more than just a subtle visual element. The square texture helps increase traction, making stairs safer in settings where slips and tumbles are a concern. The square nose at the edge brings a crisp, modern profile, distinct from curved alternatives. Sized at 72 inches by 12.5 inches, this tread functions as a one-piece cover for most residential and commercial stairways, which means installation is efficient-fewer seams, fewer opportunities for water or dirt to sneak underneath.

Pewter-the gray hue used here-offers a reliable, neutral shade that adapts well amongst popular flooring types and color schemes. Even under repeated use, the color and finish hold up without quick fading or obvious scratching. Cleaning is straightforward: grime and grit do not hide easily in the pattern, and surface debris can be managed quickly. Day in and day out, the tread keeps spaces tidy and professional without frequent touchups.

The Angle Fit model ensures the ends and edges fit tightly along the step, so you avoid visible gaps or loose coverage. Every measurement, from the full 72-inch length to the broad 12.5-inch width, meets common specifications-useful for facilities managers who do not want surprises at installation. The high-quality rubber continues to absorb impact and resist indentation, keeping up with the constant traffic of commercial use.

Coverage includes a 5-year warranty-valuable whether you're planning a large institutional project or handling a simple retrofit. The ongoing benefits are clear: little maintenance, none of the unsightly chipping or scuffing you find with lesser materials, and slip resistance you can depend on. Manufacturing in the USA assures compliance with sourcing and reliability standards relevant to many public and private sector jobs.
