Order Today and Save the Tarkett Johnsonite Raised Square Iron Mountain Stair Tread Gray Rubber 72 inch Square Nose, designed for reliability at 12.5 inch width. This is the kind of stair tread made with heavy day-to-day use in mind, built for environments where both durability and appearance matter. The first thing you'll notice in person is the solid weight of the rubber - there's no chance of it feeling thin or brittle. At 72 inches long and 12.5 inches wide, each tread covers a full standard step and then some, making it practical for commercial stairs, entryways, or anywhere slip-resistance is a top priority.

The raised square finish isn't just about looks - it gives real functional grip underfoot, helping reduce slips in settings that see a lot of traffic or sudden weather changes. Iron Mountain is a true gray, straightforward and versatile enough to fit with just about any flooring or wall color palette you've got. Rubber is a smart material choice here because it holds up under pressure, resists scuffs, and doesn't warp or lose shape over time the way some composite products can. Everything is manufactured in the United States, which shows in the build and finish consistency.

The Square Nose profile is specifically engineered for ease of installation and a clean, professional line at the edge of each stair. Most commercial settings need that kind of reliable fit, and the uniform angle works equally well in residential upgrades. These treads are made to accept a variety of recommended adhesives, allowing installers to match the product to site conditions and traffic expectations. Every order comes with a 5-year warranty from Tarkett, so there's genuine peace of mind on long-term performance.

For anyone outfitting public spaces, multi-unit properties, or looking to extend the usable life of high-traffic steps, this tread covers all the fundamentals - thicker rubber dimensions, raised traction profile, and a length that's ready for most applications out of the box. Color is consistent throughout, so scuffs and gouges don't show up as starkly as they do with surface-dyed or painted stair solutions. If you're pricing out multiple steps, you'll find the savings add up quickly at bulk tiers, especially since this is a Made in the USA product with no hidden charges for import or specialty finishes.

Full technical specs, care details, and installation support are readily available right from the source via Tarkett's dedicated stair tread information. If you have a complex run or need matching risers and adhesives, you'll find everything cataloged there for easy ordering. With straightforward dimensions, commercial-grade material, and that practical raised square grip, it's a stair tread that's genuinely well-suited to both daily wear and clean looks, no matter the environment.
