Buy Now and Save with the Tarkett Johnsonite Raised Square Brown Stair Tread 60 inch Square Nose, offering a durable rubber solution for well-used stairways. When steady foot traffic is a given, this tread delivers reliability in both function and coverage. At a solid 60 inches long, it covers the majority of stair widths you'll find in commercial and residential settings-no awkward seams or short ends. The 12.5-inch width isn't just generous; it allows for secure footing from edge to edge, so even larger steps don't feel cramped. The square nose profile doesn't just tidy up the step edge, it gives each tread a clean, professional appearance with uniform lines across your entire staircase.

The raised square surface isn't for looks alone. It's intended to improve traction underfoot, especially where moisture or heavy use is part of everyday activity. Apartment complexes, institutional facilities, and retail spaces can all benefit from an anti-slip profile like this, particularly in high-visibility areas where safety matters. The brown color leans neutral, working well with a range of floor covering choices and wall colors, and has a practical appeal that doesn't draw unnecessary attention but keeps spaces looking orderly.

This stair tread comes in rubber, which typically offers resilience, flexibility under pressure, and straightforward maintenance. Rubber is favored for stair applications because it doesn't crack or chip with regular cleaning, and it remains resilient over years of foot traffic. Labeled as the Angle Fit model, the tread is built to allow a bit of forgiveness on installations where the steps don't line up perfectly-a useful choice for older buildings, or where not every stair is identical. Included is a five-year warranty, helping ensure you get exactly what you expect from each install period. For project requirements that mandate domestic sourcing, every tread is Made in the United States, which can be key for certain commercial contracts or public facility work.

No adhesives or installation accessories are packaged in this listing, offering you the flexibility to select specific products that suit your existing subfloor, construction schedule, or local codes. This tread is a part of Tarkett's larger stair solution lineup, so it matches their coordinated risers, stair nosings, and other trim-making it much smoother to keep a consistent look and fit across every step.
