Largest Tarkett Retailer supplies the Tarkett Johnsonite Torch Lake Color Splash Blue 48 inch Stair Tread, a square profile rubber option designed for full stair coverage and secure traction. If your project demands materials that hold up across years of use-without trading away style or safety-this stair tread checks every box. Assembled in the United States and protected by a 5-year warranty, it's meant for commercial spaces, public buildings, or busy residential lobbies where quality and code compliance are non-negotiable. Reliable, yes, but also practical when you need a product that's as easy to spec as it is to maintain.

Every inch counts in a stair install, and the 48-inch length by 12.25-inch width covers standard treads completely-less trimming, fewer seams, and no wasted product. The Torch Lake blue delivers consistent color throughout, so it stays looking fresh even after frequent cleaning. That vibrant blue isn't just visual flair; it also creates more visible steps, supporting environments that call for clear wayfinding or better visibility under variable lighting.

The raised square finish is more than an aesthetic touch-it brings a tangible increase in underfoot grip, which is critical on high-traffic stairs. Each tactile square maintains definition across the tread without flattening over time, translating to steady footing and less slippage across different shoe types. Balanced density and uniform thickness mean the material doesn't develop soft patches or warping-even at corners or edges, which often see the most abuse in busy buildings.

It's constructed from commercial-grade rubber, so it stands up to the grind of daily foot traffic, rolling carts, and cleaning equipment. The texture is deliberate: evenly arranged squares add dimension and grip but won't snag dirt or debris. Cleaning crews will appreciate how the square profile makes quick work of dust and scuff marks-edges stay sharp and clean, helping maintain a neat appearance without excessive upkeep. Over time, you're less likely to spot the fading or frayed edges that sometimes turn up on lighter-duty treads.

Adhesive isn't included, which is a plus for facility teams who prefer matching adhesives to site-specific substrates. If your install involves wood, metal, or concrete, you can pick the adhesive that best fits your requirements. This flexibility benefits contractors juggling multi-stage renovations or projects where access and curing times are a concern. There's no pre-selected glue that locks you into a single workflow-just a top-tier tread that adapts to your plans.

With the 5-year warranty, specifying this tread means risk is low-if questions come up after install, they're handled by Tarkett's commercial support team. Matching accessories are available for custom stair builds, and the retailer offers reference documents and install guidance to keep projects moving. For larger new construction or retrofits, this is a solution you can confidently recommend-or pull from the shelf-again and again.
