Fast Shipping brings the Tarkett Johnsonite Torch Lake Color Splash Raised Square Stair Tread in blue, measuring 72 inches by 12.25 inches, to commercial steps seeking substantial rubber safety and a reliable finish. If you're tasked with keeping stairways safe and presentable, this is a tread that addresses both-its thick rubber construction was made for the kind of daily foot traffic and wet shoes that come with busy common areas. The raised square pattern across the surface provides reliable traction, sidestepping sharply textured finishes in favor of something that's easy to climb, wipe down, and keep looking clean over time.

The 72-inch length combined with a 12.25-inch width covers most steps from end to end, so you're not left piecing together multiple short sections or fussing with awkward cuts. The blue color was chosen to help catch the eye-you get a visual cue for safety, but without the kind of flash that draws negative attention in more formal buildings. It fits right in whether you're managing a school, retail store, or corporate lobby where both form and function matter.

Manufactured in the United States, this stair tread maintains a consistent look and feel from one step to the next. The finish and vibrancy of the color hold up even with regular mopping and repeated cleaning routines-it doesn't fade or peel away easily, which is a common complaint with thinner competitors. The five-year warranty helps reinforce that this is a solution with staying power, not something you'll have to revisit each season.

When it comes to installation, the heavy-weight rubber lays perfectly flat, sidestepping the curling or bunching that can happen with flimsier options. Facility managers and installers alike usually appreciate that it works with any standard adhesive made for rubber, so you don't need to track down special glues or tools to move a project forward efficiently. Installation teams often point out that a straightforward product like this keeps time and costs under control, especially for large-scale jobs.

The surface's texture is more than an aesthetic touch-it's there to help prevent slips without being abrasive to shoes or bare hands. In schools and retail, or any place where stairs see a lot of movement, cleaning staff have remarked how easy the squares are to mop-a simple sweep and wipe keeps the treads from collecting grime, while the edges stay down for lasting neatness. For residential staircases, homeowners gravitate here when safety is a lead concern but they don't want a look that screams "industrial."

Thickness and shape matter just as much. The square-edge delivers a crisp, tidy end to each step, so stair runs finish with an orderly professional feel. For anyone balancing ADA compliance, visual uniformity, and a surface that's not going to shift under pressure, this is the kind of product buyers come back to repeatedly.
