In Stock Tarkett Johnsonite Lake Shore Color Splash Stair Tread Brown Raised Square 48 inch offers a practical solution for updating staircases with durable rubber construction. Built specifically for heavy foot traffic, this stair tread uses a high-quality rubber composition that holds up in both commercial and residential environments. The raised square profile is more than visual-it provides increased grip underfoot, reducing the risk of slips, while its textured surface helps disguise everyday scuffs and dust. At 48 inches in length and 12.25 inches in width, each tread covers a full-sized step, preventing exposed stair edges and giving a consistent, secure walking surface throughout the stairway.

The Lake Shore Color Splash comes in a deep brown that blends with a wide range of interior themes, from traditional to modern. Facility managers and property owners appreciate its practical performance-the surface resists showing the dirt and wear that can accumulate in busy corridors, so you spend less time worrying about constant cleaning or premature replacement. The pattern is subtle yet effective, fitting into newly built spaces or existing buildings without calling attention to itself but delivering steady, reliable function day in and day out.

With a 5-year warranty and Made in the United States, this tread comes with assurance that it will stand up to repeated use without curling at the edges or fading quickly. The rubber stays resilient even as temperatures and humidity fluctuate, a feature that matters when you're responsible for keeping facilities safe year-round. There's also a bit of relief underfoot in multi-story buildings, since the rubber's thickness offers some comfort to those who use the stairs frequently. Installation adapts to a variety of adhesives recommended for rubber stair parts, which lets installers match the attachment method to building requirements-whether you need something more temporary or fully permanent.

The raised square finish doesn't just look orderly; it's engineered to be practical. It provides feedback underfoot so you know where you are on the stair, while the understated look ensures it won't compete with other flooring or wall materials. The treads are delivered ready to install, and can be trimmed on-site to fit unusual layouts, ensuring every step is covered. Compatible accessories are part of the same Color Splash line, streamlining maintenance and procurement for facilities looking to outfit every staircase with the same consistent material.
