Buy Now and Save with the Tarkett Johnsonite Raised Round Gateway Stair Tread Gray Rubber Square Nose 60 inch x 12.5 inch. Purpose-built for high-traffic stairs, this stair tread addresses safety, longevity, and ease of installation in commercial and institutional settings. You're looking at a piece that covers 60 inches in length and 12.5 inches in width, which fits most standard stair dimensions in offices, schools, and healthcare environments. The rubber construction, sourced and manufactured in the United States, gives you durability and sustained performance through years of heavy foot traffic.

The raised round profile on the surface stands out as a practical choice for slip-resistance. It's the sort of pattern that holds up to constant movement and helps reduce slipping hazards, especially in locations where people may come and go all day. The square nose keeps the front edge neatly aligned with the step and sits flat, so there are no awkward overlaps or exposed edges that catch shoes or cleaning equipment. There's no extra complexity with specialty adhesives or add-on kits-the installation is straightforward and works efficiently for both one-off retrofits and multi-floor projects.

Color-wise, the gray shade is neutral and understated, excellent for areas that require a tidy appearance without calling attention from the rest of the interior. Dirt and scuffs blend in rather than stand out, which is an advantage when you're managing cleaning routines or wanting a consistent look even after extended use. The finish handles wear well, and it resists the kind of surface dulling seen on other options.

If you're specifying for a new build or planning a facility refresh, this tread offers confidence with a 5-year warranty behind it. The Angle Fit model is adaptable, so it won't complicate budgets or timelines, and it's compatible with high demands. Made in the United States, it's a dependable choice for those who handle maintenance, construction, or facilities management in environments where safety codes and reliability are non-negotiable.
