Buy Now and Save on the Tarkett Johnsonite Raised Round Brown Stair Tread 48 inch Square Nose, a practical rubber stair solution with 48 inch length and square nose dimensions. Made from dependable rubber, this stair tread is intended to hold up under heavy use, making it a reliable choice for entryways, stairwells, or any space where slip resistance and durability are non-negotiable. The raised round surface pattern isn't just there for looks-it's an added layer of traction underfoot, and comes into its own in places where safety is top priority.

This stair tread gives you a full 48 inches of length and 12.5 inches of width, which is generous coverage for most stairs, minimizing seams or awkward joins during installation. The square nose provides a precise, modern edge that sits flush along the step, reducing trip points and helping preserve the tread's structure longer, even through years of high-traffic use. Tarkett backs it with a five-year warranty, so you don't have to second-guess long-term performance.

Engineered under the Angle Fit model, these treads are straightforward to align and install, no matter what the stairwell layout throws at you. Whether it's a wide main staircase or a sequence of steps through public corridors, consistent placement matters for appearance and function. You'll find the material free of visible flaws or manufacturing inconsistencies, thanks to its US-based production standards. Each piece arrives ready, with crisp lines and proper molding-no extra prep or adjustments necessary before putting them in place.

The brown color quietly integrates into most color schemes, holding its own in both institutional renovations and more up-to-date commercial projects. If the job calls for contrast stripes or matching accents, these tread bases adapt easily without fighting the surrounding palette. Rubber is chosen here for a reason: it softens footsteps, helps reduce noise from rolling carts, and won't unravel or splinter the way synthetic alternatives sometimes do in high-use settings. Cleaning remains easy-just sweep and mop-no extra products or adhesives required, saving you on ongoing costs and complexity.

The 48-inch cut makes these treads well-suited to both new construction and replacement projects, streamlining orders for multi-level buildings or phased upgrades. Ordering for a larger facility is efficient, and you'll be able to manage inventory with fewer leftover scraps.
