Discounted Pricing brings the Tarkett Johnsonite Color Splash Blue Raised Square Stair Tread 72 inch, measuring 72 inches by 12.25 inches, to facilities that require highly visible, durable rubber safety with a square profile. For facility managers and architects working on schools, healthcare spaces, or public corridors, this model stands out for its consistent slip resistance and inviting color. The Color Splash Blue is vivid enough to catch attention without becoming a distraction, which makes it suitable for guiding both staff and visitors through high-traffic stairwells.

The tread's dimensions - 72 inches long and 12.25 inches wide - accommodate most standard stairs. If you're working with an irregular or nonstandard staircase, the length trims down easily, so you don't have to plan for specialty cuts. The raised square finish is functional: it gives shoes a real point of contact. Even at a quick pace, those textured squares generate noticeably better grip than simple flat rubber. For busy areas where slips and falls are an ongoing concern, having this kind of extra surface traction built in helps manage long-term liability and safety requirements.

Color Splash treads are produced from high-quality rubber, so abrasion from daily foot traffic, carts, or regular cleaning doesn't wear down the material or the finish. Rubber's shock-absorbing properties also help dampen noise, which is an added bonus in echo-prone stairwells. The blue coloring does more than add visual interest - it establishes a clear edge on each step, useful for wayfinding or ADA compliance when contrasting colors are specified as part of the safety plan. In places that see staff, students, or patients moving at all hours, this visual line at the step makes quick orientation easier and reduces accidents.

Every tread comes with a five-year warranty and is made in the United States. Consistent US manufacturing standards mean there's less risk of mid-project surprises in color or sizing. Facilities that need to order additional pieces down the road will benefit from that supply reliability. Discounted Pricing further supports managers working with strict budgets, which is a detail that can matter on larger jobs involving dozens or even hundreds of stair treads.

Installation doesn't require special tools - just standard commercial-grade adhesives appropriate for rubber flooring are recommended. The square edge sits flush against risers for a clean, contemporary finish. Whether it's a school gym or a municipal building, installation fits routine renovation schedules without adding labor complexity.
