Quick Ship Tarkett Johnsonite Color Splash Stair Tread Gray 72 inch rubber profile is engineered for consistent coverage and slip resistance where commercial traffic never really lets up. In spaces where steady foot traffic, moving carts, and maintenance equipment put floor safety to the test day after day, this tread provides a solution that stays effective and visually uniform from one stairwell to the next. Gray maintains cohesion in multi-level settings and takes a beating without drawing attention to dirt, scuffs, or stray marks, which is often the goal for public spaces.

This stair tread spans 72 inches in length and 12.25 inches across, giving you broad surface area to avoid seams and limit installation time on standard commercial runs. The material-solid rubber throughout-absorbs impact and resists deformation, so the treads keep their shape and deliver predictable traction. A raised square texture improves foot grip, particularly in situations where moisture is an issue, while the pattern itself is shallow enough to make cleaning straightforward-no extra work for routine maintenance crews.

The tread is molded as a single unit, with a squared-off profile that matches up evenly against most risers. This uniformity helps prevent edges from curling or separating from the underlying step, a problem that wastes time and money on unnecessary replacements. Application follows standard adhesive procedures, and once it's in place, there aren't weak spots at corners or along seams to worry about. A five-year warranty provides assurance, but the practical history of this profile in demanding public buildings is what most facilities teams care about.

A neutral matte gray isn't about making a statement-it's about keeping stairs looking presentable for longer stretches between deep cleans. It hides dust, everyday shoe prints, and minor blemishes, so areas open to the public or frequent use don't look tired halfway through the week. For contractors, Color Splash is a reliable go-to when projects require uniformity without focusing on bold colors or high-gloss finishes. Its performance meets expectations for slip resistance and long-term durability as expected in commercial settings.

Made in the United States, this stair tread helps meet compliance standards that matter in regulated environments, and the Quick Ship service reduces downtime between placing an order and getting the job completed. Whether you're managing a multi-floor facility with ongoing maintenance cycles or facing a tight deadline for a replacement, the straightforward sizing and practical color make it easy to swap out only what you need, when you need it.
