Lowest Price Online Tarkett Johnsonite Color Splash Raised Round Stair Tread offers sturdy gray rubber coverage for commercial steps at 48 inches by 12.25 inches. Built for performance in schools, offices, and institutional stairwells, each tread extends a full 48 inches long and 12.25 inches wide-covering generous tread widths found in public spaces. The balance between thickness and flexibility means it withstands daily use without appearing bulky or feeling insubstantial underfoot.

The raised round texture on the surface improves traction without collecting debris, working especially well in high-traffic environments. Multiple small contact points increase grip whether the stairs are dry, wet, or dusty, supporting consistent safety all day. The square edge allows for a clean install, fitting neatly against standard step edges and supporting simple, straightforward placement on various types of stairs.

The neutral gray shade makes integration into most interiors easy-whether you're matching an existing color palette or keeping things understated for future renovations. Manufactured entirely from tough rubber, this stair tread stands up to scuffs, impact, and repeated cleaning, making it reliable for settings that see persistent use and strict cleaning protocols. Made in the United States, it's accompanied by a 5-year warranty from Tarkett Johnsonite for added assurance.

No adhesives are included, but the tread's industry-standard sizing means sourcing the right product locally is simple. Modification for irregular tread lengths is as easy as scoring and trimming with standard tools, so there's flexibility if you're handling new builds or retrofits. The durable rubber maintains its integrity underfoot and provides a slight give-subtle enough to reduce fatigue for those moving up and down all day, yet firm enough for solid footing.

Maintenance doesn't require specialty processes: a regular sweep or mop removes most dirt, and the shallow raised pattern avoids trapping excess grime. The tread resists becoming slippery under wet shoes, and long-term reliability makes it preferable to options that show wear quickly or compromise on safety for cost savings. Whether you're responsible for university dorms or municipal offices, the generous size saves time during installation while reducing the likelihood of frequent replacement.

Practical, understated, and made to serve reliably for years, Tarkett Johnsonite's Color Splash Raised Round Stair Tread is tailored for facility managers and contractors who prioritize safety, resilience, and low visual distraction.
