Save Now with the Roppe Ashen Light Duty Smooth Stair Tread, a 72 inch rubber option in Ashen color providing modern stair protection for areas needing light-duty coverage. This tread is built for residential and commercial spaces where straightforward stair coverage is a priority-think apartment buildings, small offices, or institutional settings with steady but not harsh foot traffic. Measuring a full 72 inches long by 12.38 inches wide, each tread ensures solid, uniform coverage without awkward seams or gaps, no matter the width of the step.

The smooth surface stands out for its unfussy look-it's free from overly textured patterns or raised grips, giving stairways a streamlined aesthetic that works well in most interiors. The Ashen shade is subtle, somewhere between soft gray and off-white, which helps it blend with different floor and wall finishes. It doesn't compete for attention or throw off the tone of a space, making it a practical solution for locations aiming for a clean, professional appearance.

When it comes to material, the tread is made from a durable rubber that balances flexibility with resilience. This profile is comfortable underfoot while standing up to everyday dings-ideal for locations that don't need heavy-duty protection but still want visible, long-lasting results. Cleaning is straightforward thanks to the smooth finish, so maintenance crews can quickly wipe away dust or light soiling. You won't see fast wear from shoes, deliveries, or casual rolling loads like lightweight carts.

Edge options let you pick between square and rounded forms. Choosing the square style gives each stair a defined outline, well-suited for more angular spaces or places where visual clarity on the steps helps with navigation. The rounded version offers a gentler edge that's easier on shoes and less likely to snag socks-good news for settings focused on accessibility or comfort.

Each tread ships with a standard thickness, substantial enough to shield the stair itself but not so thick it alters the walking surface. For out-of-the-ordinary stair layouts or nonstandard sizes, the material cuts easily to fit on site-a real benefit for projects with variables or space constraints. The rubber flexes nicely over modest inconsistencies, minimizing the struggle during installation.

Fastening is straightforward-standard adhesives work well with the material, and there's enough give for the tread to conform securely on slightly irregular steps. No special tools or complex finishing techniques are needed. Once in place, you get practical coverage that holds up against regular use with minimal fuss.

This stair tread comes with a five-year warranty, and it's produced in the USA. For full technical documentation or to check on installation options, visit this direct resource for comprehensive reference materials.
