Nationwide Top Dealer. Tarkett Johnsonite Hammered Medium Grey Stair Tread 48 inch Square Nose offers a dependable combination of performance and appearance tailored for busy public spaces. With its medium grey hue, it maintains a crisp, neutral presence that suits a range of commercial interiors, from hospitals and schools to offices and apartments. The hammered finish is practical-it provides a bit of grip underfoot and resists slips without drawing too much visual attention. Proudly manufactured in the United States, this stair tread benefits from consistent quality and adherence to rigorous standards.

The dimensions come in at 48 inches long and 12.5 inches wide, giving you solid coverage on most standard stairs. It features a square nose profile, creating a sharp, defined edge at the stair front-an asset both in terms of safety and neat installation. As part of the Angle Fit series, this tread is made for accurate placement and a tidy appearance across a variety of stairwell layouts.

The rubber material delivers the right mix of resilience and firmness. There's a little give when stepped on, but it's strong enough to resist gouges and daily wear from constant use and rolling loads. The hammered surface texture adds traction without attracting dust or making cleaning a chore. Regular sweeping and damp mopping keep it looking fresh, which is useful for spaces that can't afford extended downtime for maintenance.

This stair tread is backed by a 5-year commercial warranty, so you can depend on it for both performance and peace of mind during everyday use. Installation is adaptable-no adhesives or accessories bundled, so you can select the right adhesive system based on your subfloor and job requirements.
