Buy Now Tarkett Melodia Orange 687 Homogeneous Vinyl Orange Flooring 6 Feet 6 inches wide is designed for commercial durability and long-running, consistent style. Built to deliver steady performance in demanding spaces, this flooring stands up to heavy use-whether that means students changing classes, hospital corridors running at full tilt, or an office that doesn't slow down. The Melodia series isn't chasing trends; it's about providing the kind of reliability and visual impact that large commercial environments need.

The standout color-Orange 687-runs all the way through the homogeneous 2 mm construction, not just on the surface. That matters in daily use. When chips or scuffs happen, the true color holds, and repairs blend far more discreetly than with patterned or layered alternatives. The non-directional pattern also means any seam or patch is easy to hide, which simplifies installation and maintenance planning for facility managers. You're not just picking a bold color; you're choosing a practical approach to long-term flooring care.

With a width of 6 feet 6 inches, Tarkett Melodia minimizes the number of seams needed during installation. Fewer seams mean less opportunity for dirt and grime to settle in, and the overall aesthetic stays cleaner and more unified. Installation itself is a standard glue-down procedure, and because of the consistent thickness and density, the floor stays flat over time-no rippling, no bubbles, no headaches with shifting underfoot. This is flooring made for teams that need to focus on running their space, not chasing down avoidable maintenance calls.

The surface is treated with UV-cured polyurethane, which provides a noticeable barrier to scuffs, dirt, and chemical spills. For cleaning crews, this means spot cleaning is straightforward, and routine maintenance doesn't require specialized products. The finish delivers a steady, even look after scrubbing-a benefit when traffic never lets up enough for full shutdowns or deep cleans. Over the years, this surface treatment and the solid-color construction prove their worth by making the floor look presentable between more significant refreshes.

You're getting a 10-year commercial warranty, but the day-to-day strengths show up long before that timespan. The homogeneous vinyl handles impact from rolling carts or foot traffic, keeping the floor in shape even during rushed mornings or high-occupancy periods. In offices and classrooms, the subtle notched pattern of the Melodia line takes the visual edge off the bright orange, which means it accents a space rather than overwhelming it. The result is a flooring that's easy to coordinate with branding, furniture, or wayfinding, particularly in institutional or corporate settings where design flexibility pays off.

Manufactured in the United States, this product is readily available for quick shipment and large commercial rollouts. For those comparing options, the Melodia's core differences are its through-body color, non-directional design, wide-width efficiency, and finish that handles daily real-world mess. You won't need to second guess a specification like this-it's a known quantity backed by consistent, visible performance in the field.
