Top Choice Tarkett Melodia Dark Cool Grey 968 Homogeneous Vinyl 6.56' Wide is a flooring solution made to handle the practical needs and blunt realities of commercial interiors. You're looking at a floor that takes the day-in, day-out pressure of constant use-corridors, healthcare settings, classrooms, offices-with a mix of surface durability and underlying structure that doesn't give out after a few years. It's available and priced per square foot, which is helpful if you need to break down costs for a renovation, new build, or facility refresh without overbuying or excess waste.

There's nothing superfluous about the color choice here: Dark Cool Grey. It's the kind of shade that occupies a middle ground-rich enough to minimize the obvious effects of tracked-in dirt or daily wear, but not so deep or trendy that you'll get sick of it in a few years. The finish is free from wild directional visuals or aggressive patterns, so it does its job supporting the broader look of your interior without dictating it. You can roll this out in a clean, consistent field across lobbies or patient rooms and know it won't clash with changing paint colors, fixtures, or furnishings.

The homogeneous construction is another practical plus. There's a uniformity-color and pattern run through the entire 2 mm thickness instead of stopping at the surface. Everyday scuffs and dings don't immediately cut through the appearance, which is a common headache with layered floors or printed films. Maintenance teams appreciate this because there's simply less to worry about when it comes to keeping a uniform look over time-even if the inevitable nick or scrape happens. When patching or replacing a section, the absence of a repeating pattern or grain means fewer headaches matching new to old.

At 6 feet 6 inches wide, the rolls are noticeably broader than many standard-width options. That extra width means you're installing fewer seams over large areas, which brings both a cleaner final look and fewer places for moisture or soil to work in over time. It also speeds up installation, cutting down labor hours. For complex or high-traffic spaces-think school corridors, retail aisles, or hospital wards-this matters more than you'd expect. The glue down method is the trusted standard for permanent, commercial installs. When this floor is set, it stays put, reducing the risk of edge lift or shifting under rolling traffic or heavy treads.

Tarkett's Melodia series is built for longevity and supports a broad range of performance-minded projects. It's a dependable choice for anyone who cares about keeping things looking as polished in year seven as they did in year one.
