Browse Now | Tarkett Johnsonite Rice Paper Canary Rubber Tile Yellow Solid Color 24 x 24 inch is a commercial-grade flooring solution designed for durability, practicality, and color consistency across large areas. The 24 inch by 24 inch dimensions mean you're getting significant coverage with each tile, which pays off both in installation speed and in creating a clean, modern grid on the floor. At this size, you're unlikely to lose continuity or end up with a patchwork look, even in wide open spaces.

The Rice Paper finish keeps things streamlined-there's a slight texture, but nothing that calls attention to itself, which is often what you want in commercial and institutional settings. The vibrant canary yellow is part of the Solid Color series, so the pigment runs true all the way through the tile rather than being just a surface layer. It's a practical choice if you want a floor that keeps its tone after years of foot traffic, not one that starts looking faded or scraped after the first cleaning.

The material is solid rubber, produced in the United States, with a five-year warranty. Rubber has a way of holding up to carts, wheeled chairs, and rolling luggage without showing much wear. It also has enough give to reduce slip risk and to be easier underfoot for staff or customers who spend hours walking hallways. You'll notice the difference compared to rigid tiles after a long day on your feet. Color-wise, the canary yellow shows strongly without being overpowering, especially when paired with institutional lighting or modern fixtures-it'll read as fresh but practical rather than flashy.

This tile is part of Tarkett's approach to modular commercial design: easy to mix with baseboards, trims, and adjoining colors, or to stand on its own as a cohesive field. The square profile helps get installation right the first time, with less trimming and fitting at the edges. Being made in the US speeds up delivery for domestic orders, and ‘Best Savings' is frequently a factor when specifying for large spaces-bulk pricing can make a noticeable difference on your overall project budget.

For adhesive and accessory selection, Tarkett does offer compatible products, so you can keep everything to spec if you want to avoid mismatched performance or warranty issues. It's worth noting that the Rice Paper finish is a regular maintenance surface-mop clean, no heavy waxing needed. If you require a reliable, high-visibility flooring solution for retail, schools, or healthcare, and you want something that looks substantial without being showy, there are very few drawbacks in this configuration.
