ASAP Delivery Tarkett Johnsonite Platinum Raised Round 48" One Piece Stair Tread Riser in a platinum color comes in a sturdy 48 x 19 inch rubber construction. For facility managers and installers looking for consistent performance with minimal downtime, this stair tread riser comes ready for immediate dispatch and is made in the United States. The platinum color blends cleanly with a range of contemporary layouts, offering a neutral but distinct finish that holds up in commercial, institutional, and public settings.

The one-piece construction means you won't have to worry about seams or alignment issues-a detail that simplifies installation and helps maintain a professional-looking finish throughout the tread's life. Each tread covers 48 inches in length and offers 19 inches of width, making it suitable for many standard stairwell applications without awkward trimming or piecing multiple risers together. The 5-year warranty demonstrates a level of durability that caters to high-traffic spaces: educational buildings, healthcare environments, government offices, or transit corridors where safety and endurance aren't optional.

The raised round profile on the tread is more than just an aesthetic choice. It delivers practical slip resistance-important during wet conditions or in facilities where hazard reduction is prioritized. The material's flexibility allows for a snug fit along irregular stair risers, but thanks to its dense rubber formulation, it resists compression and indentation over time. Even under regular cleaning routines and heavy foot traffic, the finish stays uniform and professional. Platinum, as a color, won't show every scuff or scrape, which makes it a logical choice for locations where housekeeping needs to be fast and efficient.

Rubber also provides a level of sound dampening, so these treads help reduce footfall noise across the building-or in stairwells directly adjacent to work or patient areas. Pairing it with compatible adhesives and accessories from the Tarkett Johnsonite system ensures you maintain manufacturer compliance, which is key when backed by a 5-year product warranty. If you work with fire code or ADA requirements, this tread's rounded raised profile is engineered with safety in mind, though always reference local codes for final signoff.
