Up to 40% off retail, Tarkett Johnsonite Iron Mountain Raised Round Rubber Stair Tread 72in in gray provides dependable traction and stair protection with a one-piece rubber build. When you need to secure high-traffic staircases-public buildings, educational facilities, healthcare sites-this tread stands out for its functional features and scale. At 72 inches long and 19 inches wide, coverage is continuous over most standard stairs. The Iron Mountain color is a muted gray that easily keeps dirt, scrapes, and repeated use from looking obvious, so maintenance teams spend less time worrying about appearance between cleanings.

The raised round pattern on this tread is meant for one purpose: slip resistance. You notice the texture underfoot, but it stays comfortable even through long shifts and heavy daily usage. The surface helps meet ADA slip criteria, which means foot traffic flows safely in settings where liability and injury prevention can't be left to chance. This is a one-piece construction-tread and riser together-which means no joining seams or bits to separate over time. That's a single install, quicker cleanup, and fewer callbacks for failed adhesives. The US-made rubber holds up to harsh chemicals and repeated mopping without turning tacky or brittle, so both initial fit and long-term appearance remain consistent.

This product is supported by a five-year warranty for wear and fading, a practical coverage window in commercial settings. The all-rubber formulation helps absorb footfalls and rolling equipment noise, making it a consistent option for busy environments. If your project involves coordinating stair treads across multiple floors, the consistent finish and size help ensure visual uniformity even when retrofitting older buildings with uneven step dimensions.

Accessories like adhesives and nosing strips can be chosen based on subfloor material, giving flexibility for installs over concrete, wood, or metal staircases. Full details-including warranty and cleaning guidance-can be accessed via this product page. The tread arrives labeled as model RNRDTRTG3772, which streamlines reference for bulk ordering or replacement questions.

This is straightforward, purpose-built stair protection that solves everyday durability and compliance needs without added fuss. With the price savings off retail, it's a reliable solution for facility managers aiming to stay on budget while meeting practical stair safety requirements.
