Guaranteed Savings from Tarkett, the Johnsonite Fudge One Piece Stair Tread Riser 48 inch Rubber Raised Round model, addresses stair safety and appearance in busy interiors. The tread riser measures 48 inches long and 19 inches wide, offering continuous surface coverage that helps protect against trip hazards and alignment issues commonly seen with multi-piece installations. Its raised round surface introduces additional grip-especially valuable in high-traffic commercial spaces where safety is a primary concern.

The Fudge color is a practical choice, striking a balance between hiding day-to-day scuffs and quietly complementing existing flooring palettes. It's a deep, neutral shade that works in both newer and older stairwells without drawing too much attention or clashing with other finishes. Tarkett's use of a high-quality rubber compound sets this model apart from options that show wear or discolor easily. A five-year warranty backs its performance, underscoring its suitability for facilities managers or building owners who want longer intervals between replacements without sacrificing reliability.

Single-piece construction means the tread riser fits most commercial staircases efficiently, reducing installation time and complexity. No matching of ends or special cutting is needed, which can make a real difference in larger projects or sites with multiple staircases. The raised round surface-far from being just a visual accent-helps with traction when floors get slick, providing a distinct tactile experience along every step. This model covers the requirements for buildings that demand dependable slip resistance day in and day out.

Material selection matters here. Rather than relying on blends or fillers, the stair tread riser utilizes genuine rubber. This contributes to its ability to handle repeated traffic while maintaining its intended texture and appearance. Regular maintenance is easy: standard floor cleaning methods keep the surface looking orderly, reducing ongoing labor and material costs tied to upkeep.

Its dimensions-48 inches in length and 19 inches in width-fit a range of stair types and depths, making it appropriate for institutional settings, office complexes, or public facilities. The Fudge tone hides marks but won't visually shrink the space, a detail that matters in busy stairwells. Being made in the United States and carrying a five-year warranty makes the value proposition clear for those managing building standards and budgets.
