Nationwide Top Dealer Tarkett Johnsonite Raised Round Cool Metal Stair Tread Gray 48 inch Square Nose is manufactured from rubber and sized at 48 x 12.5 inches. If you need a stair tread solution that stands up to foot traffic and actually looks sharp, this one makes sense. The raised round finish isn't just for appearance; it adds a bit of grip you'll notice underfoot-especially in settings where slips are a concern. The Cool Metal color brings a neutral modern gray to commercial or industrial projects, easily complementing a range of flooring materials without drawing too much attention to itself.

This stair tread is built around a full 48-inch length and a 12.5-inch width, designed to cover deep commercial steps with a true square nose profile. That square nose delivers a crisp line, giving stairs a professional, finished edge that holds up to repeated impact. The tread is constructed from durable rubber, which absorbs some of the shock from daily use and keeps the edges from hard chipping you sometimes see with harder synthetics. Installation is straightforward with compatible adhesives (not included), and the rubber material makes trimming to fit possible if you're working around custom stair dimensions.

The Angle Fit model is part of Tarkett's broader Johnsonite range, meaning it's engineered with the same standards as their commercial flooring collections. Made in the USA, it's covered by a 5-year warranty so you're not gambling on durability. From back-of-house corridors and schools to high-traffic retail applications, this tread fills a spot when you need something that blends hard-working build with a presentable finish.

If you're comparing stair solutions on price against longevity, the Johnsonite Raised Round series tends to outlast basic vinyl or bargain treads, especially in facilities where maintenance and appearance matter. The Gray Cool Metal variant also resists scuffs better than lighter finishes, so you'll spend less time cleaning and more time with steps that look ready for clients or guests.
