Wholesale stair treads Pricing Tarkett Johnsonite Cool Metal Hammered 48" One Piece Stair Tread Riser delivers a sturdy rubber construction and hammered finish for long-term use. For architects and facilities managers seeking a practical stair riser that endures heavy traffic, this piece covers a full 48 inches in length by 19 inches in width-spanning a standard riser in a single unit without seams or short cuts. Compared to smooth risers, the hammered surface holds up better against the day-to-day scuffs, dings, and impacts that happen in high-volume environments. You're getting a stair accessory intended for real-world workloads, not a fragile residential strip that taps out early.

As far as visuals go, the Cool Metal color option sets a contemporary tone, sitting somewhere between frosted pewter and dull silver. It integrates well with different flooring choices and finishes without feeling cold or industrial. The hammered surface isn't just there for looks; it does an impressive job masking everyday wear and subtle marks, allowing the riser to retain its clean, modern aesthetic over time. Pair it with stair treads in the same color or mix in contrasting tones-the surface takes to both approaches without clashing or overpowering.

The single-piece rubber build is equally about function. The profile has enough substance that it won't flex, bow, or gap, so installation goes smoothly and the riser sits tight from wall to wall. The 48-inch length offers generous coverage for most commercial stairs, and at 19 inches tall, you're not wrestling with undersized scraps or awkward transitions. It's a straightforward fit for everything from schools to public buildings, especially when you want a solution that maintains a finished look and handles years of daily use.

This product is assembled in the United States and covered by a 5-year warranty direct from Tarkett, which puts it a step ahead for buyers who demand long-term reliability. You won't need special adhesives or rare fasteners-standard supplies work fine and installation doesn't drag out with tricky hardware. For janitorial teams, maintenance is quick: a mop or damp wipe with neutral cleaner is all it takes to keep the surface looking as intended. That matters in busy corridors and stairwells that can't afford downtime.

If you're dealing with uneven construction or older stairs, the durable profile helps even things out, concealing minor inconsistencies without drawing attention. The single-piece format means less opportunity for separation or cracking along joins, so you get solid coverage that doesn't loosen over time. Multi-floor installations also benefit since the matching aesthetic and structural integrity hold steady across repeated use.
