Up to 40% off retail, the Tarkett Johnsonite Raised Round Burnt Umber Stair Tread Brown Rubber Square Nose 48 inch by 12.5 inch delivers dependable protection and slip resistance for demanding commercial stairways. The tread arrives in a 48-inch long by 12.5-inch wide cut, providing ample coverage for broad steps or deeper stairs, while accommodating a variety of commercial installations. The raised round surface is there for practical reasons-it provides extra grip underfoot and stands up well to the constant movement found in busy environments.

Produced in the United States from long-lasting rubber, this stair tread holds up to heavy use, frequent cleaning, and the pressure of cleaners and maintenance teams rolling equipment up and down steps. Its Square Nose profile offers a sharp, defined edge for a professional fit along modern and traditional staircases alike. The burnt umber color option isn't just another brown; it's chosen for its ability to minimize the appearance of scuffs, dirt, and everyday traffic marks over time, so stairs don't show wear quickly even during their busiest hours. The Angle Fit model means you get consistency across multiple installations, checking off requirements for most commercial projects with efficiency.

Rubber material has the flexibility to conform slightly to minor inconsistencies in step surfaces, maintaining contact and providing a comfortable stepping surface while resisting cracking or losing shape. The tread works with typical adhesives used in rubber stair installations, making it a match for existing commercial flooring workflows. A five-year warranty offers assurance for maintenance managers and facility owners who don't want to worry about frequent replacements or unpredictable performance.

The raised pattern is a practical detail: it's proven useful in helping stair users maintain steady footing, especially in settings where spills or moisture occasionally make their way onto steps. The tread's generous coverage, neutral color, and straightforward compatibility make it suitable for office buildings, schools, and retail spaces looking for a reliable step solution across broad or frequently used staircases. Cleaning is simplified by both material and shade, with less visible wear and dirt build-up compared to lighter or more rigid alternatives.
