Buy with Confidence Tarkett Color Splash Ironside Rice Paper 24 x 24 Rubber Tile features a durable rubber construction in a contemporary finish for versatile floor installations. When the goal is to keep maintenance straightforward without sacrificing longevity, this tile makes the shortlist. The Ironside color works well anywhere you need a neutral foundation-subtle enough for open offices, flexible for classrooms and hospitality settings, and versatile enough that it doesn't draw attention to scuffs or tracked-in dust. The Rice Paper finish gives a softly textured surface that diffuses overhead light and helps maintain visual consistency as foot traffic increases.
The square 24 x 24 inch format streamlines installation, especially over larger spaces. Each tile is dimensionally consistent, which means you line up corners without the headaches that come with smaller or uneven tiles. Less time spent trimming and finessing means a more efficient installation process overall. With full rubber construction, the tile naturally absorbs impact and reduces noise-practical for busy hallways, gym spaces, or multi-purpose rooms.
Made in the USA, this tile falls under Tarkett's Color Splash series and comes with a 5-year warranty, so long-term value is part of the package. When matching across multiple spaces, consistency is a given from batch to batch. The Rice Paper finish has a noticeable texture underfoot-it provides extra grip while cleaning up easily with just standard neutral cleaners. Unlike some flooring options, this surface stays looking clean longer between sweeps, since it doesn't cling to dirt or common marks.
The up-front investment in real rubber flooring makes sense over time, especially in environments where other materials would show wear quicker or require replacement. Larger tiles also mean fewer seams to manage, which improves appearance and stability across each installation. The United States origin reinforces confidence in quality and support if you need it later.
