Largest Tarkett Retailer presents the Tarkett Johnsonite Color Splash Raised Square Stair Tread Gray 48 inch, offering 12.25-inch width rubber construction for commercial stair safety and a polished, modern finish. For building managers and contractors seeking performance-driven stair solutions, this US-made tread delivers the strength and slip resistance expected from the Johnsonite family, with the added assurance of a five-year manufacturer warranty. Its proven track record in commercial environments makes it a trusted pick for those who don't have time for product failures or unwanted surprises.

The gray rubber surface is practical and versatile, sliding easily into public spaces that require a neutral, functional look. Each tread is precisely sized at 48 inches long and a wide 12.25 inches, making it efficient for covering larger stair surfaces with fewer seams and less material waste. The square-profile nose acts as a reinforced step edge, helping the tread retain its structure and supplying a confident step in high-traffic situations. This straightforward profile isn't about appearance alone-it adds reassurance for everyone ascending or descending, which is valuable in areas with accessibility codes or safety audits.

Raised squares across the surface deliver genuine grip, keeping footing steady in the face of moisture, dust, or daily wear. The rubber material absorbs heavy impacts while cutting down on echo and clatter-a clear benefit for institutions, offices, or any place where foot traffic and rolling carts are part of the daily routine. Compared to lesser products, it stands up to repeated abrasion and scuffs, holding onto a consistent appearance much longer before showing signs of wear.

Installation has been dialed in for reliability. The tread's rubber backing bonds tightly to adhesives, creating a lasting connection to well-prepared concrete, wood, or metal stairs. The manufacturing process results in consistently true colors and surfaces across batches, so projects using multiple treads maintain a uniform, professional look. If you require technical specifications, installation guides, or information about related stair parts and accessories, current details can be found at this resource.

This tread's neutral gray finish won't overshadow the overall scheme, working quietly wherever safety, code standards, and long-term dependability drive product choices. For those specifying stair tread solutions for heavy-use spaces, it strikes a strong balance between form, reliability, and ease of application. Precise measurements-48-inch length, 12.25-inch width, and the squared edge-provide straightforward coverage and a fit tailored for institutional and commercial needs.

When stair safety and longevity need to be more than good intentions, the Tarkett Johnsonite Color Splash Raised Square Stair Tread Gray 48 inch holds up through daily use, supported by industry-standard warranty coverage and an installation process that's direct and professional.
