Discounted Pricing brings Tarkett Johnsonite Cape May Color Splash Hammered Gray Stair Tread 72 inch, a square-profile rubber option measuring 12.25 inches wide for high-traffic stairs. This stair tread is well-suited for projects where safety, durability, and a cohesive appearance are crucial, particularly in public institutions, healthcare facilities, or commercial buildings experiencing heavy daily use. With a 72 inch length per piece, coverage for most standard or wider steps is optimized, reducing the number of seams that need attention and keeping the stairwell looking streamlined throughout.

The hammered finish serves a functional purpose, effectively masking scuffs and grime that typically show up with daily wear. This textured surface also adds traction, supporting a safer environment for high-traffic staircases. Maintenance is straightforward; these treads retain their visual appeal between cleaning cycles and handle routine upkeep with ease.

The square profile keeps the overall look clean and straight-edged, working well in both modern renovations and established interiors due to its simplicity and adaptability. The Cape May Color Splash in gray offers a versatile, neutral tone that suits a wide range of interior aesthetics, minimizing the risk of visual conflict with existing features. For planning larger-scale installations, the consistent color across each tread ensures a uniform appearance without the variability seen in some other materials.

Composed of resilient rubber, these treads provide a subtle cushioning effect underfoot, which can be appreciated in high-usage spaces where comfort over extended periods is valuable. Rubber also means these treads can be cleaned using standard products and maintain their original look over time. The five-year warranty from Tarkett Johnsonite supports expectations for ongoing reliability in demanding environments.

Installation is efficient and straightforward. The standardized 72 inch length and 12.25 inch width fit common stair sizes. The square edge is simple to align with stair fronts and risers, while adhesives compatible with rubber stair treads help ensure lasting placement. Coordinating matching risers in the same colors for a visually consistent staircase is also simple, covering both functional and appearance-focused requirements.
