Save Now on the Tarkett Johnsonite Color Splash Hammered Gray Rubber Stair Tread, featuring a square profile, 72 inch length, and a sturdy 12.25 inch width. This stair tread performs well in high-traffic environments-offices, schools, and busy public stairwells-where durability and day-to-day reliability cannot be an afterthought. With each tread spanning a full 72 inches, covering both standard and oversized steps does not require awkward seams or multiple pieces, which simplifies both installation and ongoing care.

The hammered surface is a practical detail: it delivers noticeable traction underfoot, translating to fewer slips without being harsh or uncomfortable. Gray acts as a neutral, working with nearly any existing commercial interior color scheme, and conceals dirt and minor scuffs-both inevitable in busy spaces-effectively. The rubber material stands up well to constant foot traffic and the type of wear that would quickly mark up lesser products. The square-edged profile establishes a clear border at the riser, lending a straightforward, consistent transition that aids in compliance with safety standards.

Measurements-72 inches in length by 12.25 inches in width-ensure coverage for a broad range of stair dimensions. The domestic manufacturing and five-year warranty provide assurance on long-term performance, which is essential for property managers scheduling preventive maintenance or routine upgrades. Notably, its configuration does not include pre-applied adhesive, allowing installation crews to select the adhesive best matched to their base conditions-be it wood, existing rubber, or concrete. The flexibility this allows can improve results on job sites where stair builds vary from floor to floor.

The visual impact is understated: the hammered finish breaks up the look of an otherwise flat surface but avoids appearing fussy or overdone. Marks and daily wear are less likely to stand out, extending the period between replacements or refreshes for appearance's sake. In facilities where visual harmony and reliable traction are needed throughout, this tread addresses both without calling attention to itself or dominating the space.
