Roppe Ribbed Square Nose Stair Tread Dolphin 60 Inch, finished in ribbed Dolphin rubber, is intended for larger commercial steps and delivers optimal coverage for areas where broader treads are necessary. With dimensions measuring 60 inches in length and 12.25 inches in width, this tread is well-suited for office stairwells, educational facilities, and high-traffic residential buildings-places where wider step protection simplifies safety and maintenance alike.

The ribbed surface sets the tread apart in terms of safety, providing added grip on each step to help mitigate slips, even in consistently busy environments. The rubber material maintains a balanced feel: flexible enough to absorb repeated impact but structured enough to handle ongoing use without curling or deteriorating. Frequent cleaning doesn't diminish performance, so facilities can keep a uniform appearance across every floor without constant replacements.

Its square nose profile sits flat on stair edges, offering a direct solution that's easy to fit, delivers a tidy appearance, and won't catch or lift under foot traffic. The Dolphin color sits in that reliable mid-range of neutral grays: it suppresses the look of scuffs and dust, maintains a professional presence, and adapts to everything from modern to traditional interior aesthetics. Neutral doesn't mean boring-it gives flexibility to coordinate with surrounding flooring and wall colors without dominating visually.

From a practical standpoint, installation is uncomplicated. The tread works smoothly with common adhesives and requires no unusual fasteners or adapters. Professional installers will appreciate that there are no hidden steps: just a solid measure, prep, and fit. If you're running a multi-step project or managing ongoing building maintenance, Roppe's line supports consistent, color-matched results and can be paired with their stair risers or other accessories. Product consistency is assured thanks to USA-based manufacturing, and the 5-year warranty offers further assurance for demanding projects.

Measurements should be double-checked, as the extra width-12.25 inches-means this is a solution for oversized or nonstandard steps that typical off-the-shelf treads might not handle. Roppe's full stair tread and riser lineup, plus adhesive options, is available at this link for easy reference and product matching.

For facility managers, contractors, or anyone specifying floor safety products, this tread brings together durable material, steady footing, and a finish that stands up well to frequent use. Made in USA and backed by a five-year manufacturer's warranty, the Roppe Ribbed Square Nose Stair Tread in Dolphin is a reliable fit for high-traffic stair applications.
