Take advantage of up to 40% off retail with the Roppe Galactic Square Nose Raised Square Stair Tread 72 Inch, featuring durable rubber construction and a pronounced square nose for added safety in high-traffic stairways. This stair tread is designed for commercial spaces where reliability isn't optional-things like schools, healthcare centers, and municipal buildings where hundreds of people file up and down the same steps every day. The Galactic color is a real standout: it's dark and contemporary, masking the kind of scuffs and marks that are inevitable on public stairs, without looking flat or industrial.

You get a tread that's 72 inches long and 12.31 inches wide-wide enough for most standard staircases and long enough to cover runs in a single piece without visible seams. That uninterrupted rubber surface gives a finished, professional look and also means fewer weak points or gaps that could let dirt in. The raised square profile stands up to a lot; it helps define the edge visually and actually changes how the stair feels underfoot, adding grip where you want it most. Anyone managing a building with a lot of traffic will appreciate that difference, especially if mobility or slip resistance is top concern.

Performance is a big part of the story here. Manufactured in the USA, the heavy-gauge rubber construction is built to last, resisting curling, cracking, and wear even when faced with rolling carts or equipment. The square nose holds its shape rather than sloping off or breaking down at the corners, so the tread looks crisp and functions the way it's meant to after years of cleaning cycles and traffic. It's backed by a 10-year warranty-the sort of peace of mind a facility manager can act on.

For installation, you have options. The material is compatible with most adhesives (those aren't included in the box), so you can match the product to whatever subfloor or traffic level your space dictates. That flexibility keeps jobs moving, especially for teams who are updating lots of stairs at once. The non-porous rubber is straightforward to clean and doesn't hold dust, which cuts down on maintenance time. There's little risk of the surface dulling out or looking worn after the first semester or busy season.

If you're deciding between tread options, it's worth considering the balance between durability, appearance, and installation flexibility here. This model delivers on all three, making it a practical choice for retrofits or new builds. Plus, with current bulk discounts and Made in USA labeling, it lines up well for projects under budget scrutiny.
