Nationwide Top Dealer Roppe Light Brown Light Duty Smooth Stair Tread 72 Inch features a rubber construction and a choice of square or round edge profile, measuring 72 inches in length and 12.38 inches in width. Manufactured in the USA, this tread delivers a level of consistency and reliability that matters when your project schedule doesn't have room for delays or quality surprises. For offices, apartment complexes, and public facilities where you need uniformity without the cold look of industrial materials, this choice covers the essentials without sacrificing appearance.

The light brown color isn't just for show-it was selected for versatility. It pairs well with popular earth-tone floors and has a practical side: everyday dust, debris, and usual scuffs remain well-camouflaged between cleanings, so your stairwells maintain a presentable look. The smooth surface cleans up easily; a quick sweep or mop takes care of shoe marks or light stains, while the absence of deep grooves means dirt doesn't get trapped or hidden where standard cleaning tools can't reach.

At 12.38 inches wide, this tread works for most standard and even deeper stairs, helping crews cover both old buildings and new builds without special ordering. The 72-inch length minimizes waste, so installations move faster and materials stretch further. Profiles include both square and round edge choices-one giving a sharper, more structured finish and the other offering a softer touch for spaces that benefit from a less angular look. This means you can select the edge that best meets project requirements, whether you aim for a contemporary effect or something more understated and approachable.

Classified as light duty, this tread is built for daily foot traffic in offices, schools, and residential common areas-not heavy commercial or manufacturing scenarios. The smooth finish makes ongoing maintenance straightforward and prevents dirt from building up, which is especially useful for high-turnover environments or facilities managed on a tight maintenance schedule. Roppe backs their solution with a five-year warranty, offering a sense of assurance for property managers responsible for both safety and long-term spend. The tread's rubber composition provides resilience against everyday wear and tear while maintaining a comfortable step underfoot.

Installation requires a compatible adhesive matched to your existing flooring, but adhesive is not included with the tread, allowing for flexibility in adapting to various subfloors and preferences. Cutting to length is easy-standard equipment and methods will get you the precision you need without complicated prep. Since these stair treads are manufactured domestically, you benefit from consistent shape, edge accuracy, and timely availability, which helps larger jobs stay on track.

Cost control is a clear advantage here. Per-unit pricing means you can tackle full-building projects and ongoing replacements without budget overruns, and US-based production helps mitigate stock or supply issues.
