Order Today and Save with the Flexco Metal Reinforced Nose Heavy Duty Square 800 Medium Gray Rubber Stair Tread, measuring 72 inches by 12 1/4 inches. This tread is built for spaces that demand resilience-from institutional staircases to busy workplaces-with materials and construction standards set to perform over time. Manufactured in the United States, it's engineered for those who need reliability from every part of their building's infrastructure. Flexco's 10-year warranty is a statement of confidence, assuring you that this tread is prepared for daily foot traffic and repeated cleaning.

At 72 inches long and 12 1/4 inches wide, it fits standard commercial steps, reducing installation adjustments and providing full coverage from edge to edge. The medium gray color keeps maintenance practical and blends into a range of flooring plans without calling too much attention to scuffs or debris. Because these treads use heavy-duty rubber fortified by a metal nose, they hold up where regular treads are prone to cracking or wearing thin. The square profile offers a crisp look and delivers protection at the front of the step, the area that takes the bulk of impact each day.

The reinforced metal nose isn't ornamental. It strengthens the tread at its most vulnerable point and provides a firm edge that stands up to years of impact without deforming or creating trip risks. This layer of protection is especially valuable in public spaces or commercial buildings, where repairs or replacements can disrupt operations and rack up costs. Building managers consistently value the reduced need for frequent upkeep. The rubber formulation underneath supplies anti-slip properties essential for stairwells and corridors with heavy movement.

When matching stair tread widths and lengths to real-world staircases, the full 12 1/4-inch width gives you complete step coverage, lowering the odds of worn risers and unfinished edges. The 72-inch span handles most commercial jobs with minimal trimming, making installation more straightforward and less wasteful. Flexco also provides compatibility with a range of reliable adhesives, so installers are free to use preferred products while meeting building requirements for secure, long-lasting results.

This tread doesn't just perform-it supports compliance and visual consistency. The understated medium gray finish adapts with ease to high-volume settings and conceals daily use exceptionally well. Facility planners and contractors frequently select the Flexco 800 series for educational campuses, hospitals, mixed-use buildings, and municipal stairwells, precisely because it handles the realities of public foot traffic and still maintains a sharp, unblemished finish years in. Full manufacturer support and documentation accompany each shipment for guidance and performance planning.
