Buy Now and Save Flexco Flexco Metal Reinforced Nose Gray 800 Heavy Duty Square 72 inch Rubber Stair Tread in Gray provides a durable, 72 inch by 12 1/4 inch solution for high-traffic stair applications. This tread is built for the realities of large environments: foot traffic, routine cleaning, and carts or equipment that can test the limits of even tough materials. The metal-reinforced nose feature is a clear advantage, offering the kind of edge support that remains solid season after season, especially on the leading step where wear tends to show up first.

With its extended 72 inch length and generous 12 1/4 inch width, each stair tread delivers thorough coverage for most standard installations in public and institutional settings. The square profile keeps the line against the step tight and uniform, so the finished look stays professional and neat, never awkwardly mismatched. Its neutral gray color is straightforward, picking up light easily but not collecting dirt in a way that stands out-practical when you're focused on easy maintenance and long-term use.

Heavy-duty rubber makes up the tread, chosen for its proven endurance and slip-resistance in environments where safety and easy care matter more than aesthetic trends. The rubber surface reduces noise, cutting down on the kind of echo that travels in stairwells, while the reinforcement inside the nose eliminates the early peeling and curling that happens with lesser materials. The overall construction is substantial but not cumbersome, giving you coverage that doesn't flex or buckle under pressure.

Installation is clear-cut thanks to the consistent square silhouette and straightforward rubber construction. If fitting out a commercial staircase, you'll notice these treads go down cleanly and stay put, working as intended with most types of adhesives made for rubber products. Flexco's 10-year warranty is a sensible reassurance; there's a difference between a basic guarantee and a long-term commitment on material longevity, especially in busy locations.

Manufactured in the United States, this stair tread combines reliability in origin and daily performance. The price point provides real value for facilities looking to outfit entire stairwells or prepare for renovations where durability is a requirement, not an afterthought.
