Quick Ship Flexco Medium Gray 72 inch Heavy Duty Radial Metal Reinforced Nose Rubber Stair Tread provides reliable durability and confident grip for demanding stair applications. This stair tread offers a straightforward solution for commercial or high-traffic spaces needing serious wear resistance with minimal fuss. The reinforcement built into the nose adds a level of security that holds up whether it's an office stairwell or a public entryway, and the rubber material absorbs impact without looking worn too quickly.

At 72 inches long and 12 inches wide, each tread covers a substantial section of step in one shot, helping minimize seams for a cleaner installation. The square profile allows it to integrate into staircases with consistent edge definition, which is important for maintaining visual uniformity from tread to tread. The medium gray color is neutral-easy to match, doesn't highlight dust or scuffs right away, and offers the kind of understated look that works in most settings from schools to factories. You're not going to have to worry about swapping these out anytime soon thanks to the 10-year warranty and the fact they're made in the United States.

The Radial series is designed for heavy duty use, which means the tread stands up well to rolling carts, foot traffic, and all the inevitable knocks that come with busy environments. The rubber construction strikes a good balance between comfort underfoot and slip prevention, which is often a sticking point with less substantial stair accessories. The metal reinforced nose serves as a buffer for the area that always takes the most abuse-it keeps the step's leading edge in shape and resists the kind of curling you might get from non-reinforced products.

One detail worth noting: these treads are sold as single units, so you can outfit a single stair or order exact quantities for a project without excessive surplus. Flexco's attention to detail shows in the little things, like consistent color batch to batch and a surface that doesn't develop shiny spots or excessive wear even after months of use. The square profile also makes glue-ups much simpler when installers need all edges tight to the substrate.

If you're factoring in maintenance and upkeep, being able to mop or wipe down these treads without worrying about water getting underneath the nose is practical. Adhesives and installation accessories aren't bundled, but Flexco provides guidance on recommended adhesives for rubber-to-concrete, metal, or wood stairs, which professional installers tend to prefer so they can match the best system for the site.
