Mohawk Stair Risers are the complimentary product to the Mohawk one piece Stair Tread. A stair riser is the space going up (or vertical) between each step of a staircase. Risers are an important part of a staircase's structure, along with the treads, which are the flat or horizontal parts of the stair that people walk on. Mohawk Stair treads are 48 inches long and are 7 inches high. The overall thickness is .5 of an inch. Risers are packaged 8 pieces per carton. Important to note that the front face is white and the back is a primed paintable surface giving the option for either a white look or a coordinating color with walls or floor.
